TESSALink Web - Form Template Imports

    Definitions

Name (Required) – the name of the form template being created

ReportTitle – the name of the form template, as you want it to appear on reports (defaults to the same as Name if left blank).

FormType.Name (Required) – the type of form for the form template. The choices are Certification, Inspection, Preventative Maintenance, Scrap, UTI, and Work Order.

FormDiagram.Name - The name of the image file for a diagram being attached to the entire form in this row. The file name must also include the file extension (such as diagram1.jpg).

TagNames (Required) - the names of the tags that you want to assign to the form template on this row. You can add multiple tags, separated by a semicolon. Do not put a space between the semicolon and the next tag. The choices depend on the entities in the “Tags” tab under Asset Management.

IsPassFail – this determines the possible statuses for when the form is finished. If you mark this cell as True, the possible statuses once finished are Pass, Fail, or In Progress. If the cell is left blank, the possible statuses are Complete, or In Progress.

FailFormIfOneFieldFails – this determines if one field failing can fail the entire form. If you mark this cell as True, when a form is filled and a field is marked as fail, it will fail the entire form immediately.

CreateAssetAttributesIfNotExist – When used in conjunction with Section.Field.AttributeName, this will automatically take any attributes created in the form and add them to the relevant asset.

IsTestBenchForm – If you mark this cell as True, this form template will become a testbench form template, which changes how certs can be run for the work done.

PassFormIfAllFieldsPass - this determines if passing all fields automatically passes the entire form. If you mark this cell as True, when a form is filled and all fields are marked as pass, it will pass the entire form immediately.

AllowPassFormIfAttributeIsOutOfRange – if you mark this cell as True, the form can be passed even if a minimum/maximum for an attribute are exceeded.

Section.Name – The name of the section in your form template

Section.Field.Name – the name of the field in your section

Section.Field.TagNames – the name of any integration link that you want for the above field.

Section.Field.Diagram.Name - The name of the image file for a diagram being attached to the above field. The file name must also include the file extension (such as diagram1.jpg).

Section.Field.IsPassFail – if marked True, the field will be a dropdown field with Pass, Fail and N/A as the dropdown options.

Section.Field.IsRequired – if marked True, the form cannot be completed without answering this field

Section.Field.DataType – the data type of this field. The choices are Boolean, Date, DateTime, DropDown, Number, Attribute Reference, and Text. If the Section.Field.IsPassFail was marked as True, this must be DropDown.

Section.Field.DropDownValues – if the Section.Field.DataType is DropDown, this is the list for the dropdown values. You can add multiple values, separated by a semicolon. Do not put a space between the semicolon and the next value. If Section.Field.IsPassFail is marked as True, this must include at least Pass and Fail.

Section.Field.AttributeName – if the Section.Field.DataType is Attribute Reference, this is the name of the attribute that is being referenced. This attribute must exist in the system prior to importing.

Section.Field.AttributeDataType – this is the data type of the attribute in Section.Field.AttributeName, as it appears in the TessaLink system under Asset Management->Attributes.

    Tips

Multiple fields and sections can be put in the same row for the same form template. In order to do this, copy the Section.Name, Section.Field.Name, Section.Field.TagNames, Section.Field.Diagram.Name, Section.Field.IsPassFail, Section.Field.IsRequired, Section.Field.DataType, Section.Field.DropDownValues, Section.Field.AttributeName, and Section.Field.AttributeDataType columns. Paste them to the right of the copied cells. This can be done as many times as you need in order to have all of the desired sections and fields. Regardless of which you want to add, all of the above columns must be added. Even if not all 10 columns will be used, all 10 must be copied over – the unused columns will be left blank for that form/section.
