    TESSALink Web - How to Publish a Document Through Document Management

    1. Log in using your username and password

    2. On the left side menu, go to “Document Management”

    3. In the top right corner, choose “Create New”

    4. Select the file that you want to upload

    5. Input a revision number. For new documents it would be either 0 or 1.

    6. Choose your attachment label

    7. Add any notes for why you are revising the document. For the first upload, there is no need for notes

    8. Add a description of the document

    9. Save

    10. If no more revisions are needed, choose submit in the top right

    11. Once it is submitted, a user with sufficient permissions can log in and view/download the attachment, then either approve or reject it.

    12. If it is rejected, more revisions can be added and it can be resubmitted.

    13. Once it is approved, a user with sufficient permissions can log in and view/download the attachment and revision history, then choose to publish it.

    14. Enter search criteria to find the asset template(s) you want to apply the document to

    15. Select the templates you want and click the blue plus in the top right corner. This will add them to a list of all the assets, so you can search for others without losing this selection.

    16. Once you have all of the asset templates that you want to affect, click publish

    17. A popup box will appear asking if you want to publish your revision to assets. If you choose yes, it will apply that document revision to every asset of the templates that you selected. If you select no, it will apply that document revision to every asset (from now on) of the templates that you selected.
