Apply Asset Template (web)

What it is

Apply asset template is a tool that allows you to replace information on an asset that has already been created with information from an asset template.

Where I can find it

Apply asset template can only be used in mass action, so it is in the “Mass Action” button in the top right which appears once you have at least one asset selected.

Required licensing

Any account with an Asset Management license and the proper permissions.

Use Case

If a worker enters assets without having a template to create them from, the assets might not all be the same. Once a template is created for that asset type, it can be applied to all the related assets at the same time with “Apply Asset Template”
